Half adder using 74153:

Truth Table of Half Adder :

Sum is realized on Mux A, Carry on Mux B, hence

enable both the Mux by connecting Ea & Eb to logic

Realization: Connect A & B input to S1, S0 lines of

Mux respectively.

According to input A & B different data input lines(I0 to

I3) are selected.

Connect the line data input to logic 0 or 1 according to the required outputs.
